Luca Porretto has been a pastry chef since 2005 when he decided to devote himself to his family's pastry shop - the Pasticceria Beverara founded in Bologna in 2003 by his father Vincenzo Porretto as an artisan workshop.
In 2014, Luca Porretto, a young pastry chef but one who has already made a name for himself because of his scenographic cakes with special effects, took over the helm, and revamped both the laboratory and the pastry shop with his own innovative, artisanal and excellent production.
With Luca Porretto, it becomes a point of reference in the area for haute patisserie that skilfully combines tradition and innovation, and that every year knows how to renew itself with new creations, the result of constant research into raw materials, self-production of icings, jams, marmalades and spreadable creams, state-of-the-art machinery and team training.
