Torre Fornello is an emergent reality deeply rooted in ancient times and with a long history. Our focus is on innovation and we highlight local wines giving them an international touch.
In 1998 the rehabilitation of the ancient medieval “borgo” from the XV century was started, to which was added a modern vinification cellar equipped with the best modern technology to be able to vinify, refine and preserve the wines without the intervention of chemical products, respecting the raw material (grapes). The first harvest of the Torre Fornello brand is from 1998..
Only grapes harvested in the our own vineyards are processed in Torre Fornello.
In the 61 hectares of vineyards of Torre Fornello are grown the main grapes of the area: Barbera, Bonarda, aromatic Malvasia di Candia, Ortrugo in addition to international grapes such as Marsanne, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir. All the wines are biologically managed and 4 wines are officially certified as organic wine.
Torre Fornello produces about 200,000 bottles annually between white and red wines, sparkling and still wines, DOC and IGT.
The wines produced are rich in personality and uniques. The totality of them is addressed to high quality national and international restaurants and wine bars.
